So, after yesterday’s post, I really started thinking about all my nerdly pursuits. And I decided I could have a weekly installment of ‘don’t even try to out-nerd me.’ I thought perhaps it would be a month or two of good fun, but after I started making a list of all the potential topics, I immediately came up with 3 months worth of topics. The list has slowly grown, and I am now up to 4 and a half months. Which means that I can milk this topic for at least 6 months …
So, be on the lookout for my new nerdly column. I haven’t yet decided what the nerdliest day of the week is …

Monday is my official nerdiest day of the week. Not only is there 5 hours of ‘star’ programming on scifi, there are no real sitcoms with Monday new eps showings and its knowledge bowl day. Monday is the day for nerds. Besides, we all need something cool to read after a weekend.
LOL, something ‘cool’ to read? I think you mean something to make you feel better about yourself, cuz at least your not as pathetic as that akaemi girl …
I consider Monday to be the nerdiest day of the week as well. My first reason why is simply because cool people hate Monday, but only nerds are eager to get back to doing nerdy things.
Also, sci-fi shows do love Monday nights. Both Heroes and Enterprise were on Monday nights last season.
And conversely, Friday is the least nerdiest day – it’s where scifi shows go to die.
OK, I can see why you would choose based on the SciFi network (not really, but that’s a conversation for another time) but I propose judging on music.
Who’s more nerdly? Paul Simon or Bob Geldof? David Bowie or Tori Amos? The Mamas and The Papas or The Indigo Girls? So far, with only a little research I am laying my money on Monday because of New Order, but I’ve been wrong before.
